I’m on vacation and brought my crochet along, lol. This is now my favorite”go to” hat. I wanted a nonslouchy hat……..! FAST, to crochet, and easy to add stitches or subtract as needed. I used a 10mm hook and increased to 40 sts from row 4 on. The last two rows I tightened up a bit. Used Lion brand, wool ease, Fisherman. Thanks for the great pattern, I am sure my recipients would thank you as well, lol! Merry Christmas!

Any one have suggestions for why the bottom of my hat is curved? Could it be because I just used regular double crochets in the last two rows?

In reply to Jerri. I have a terrible time working in the round also, I also use a stitch marker to mark my first stitch and sometimes last stitch in each round

I love it ? ????that’s was so much fun and even with the few glitches I just worked right thru them and stuck to the pattern except for adding a extra row which I always do anyway !! Also used the Madison Mustard , Lion Brand Hometown ?? Oneif my favs to love the colors ? I have to tell you my story! I had been working on another new pattern looking for the perfect new pattern for the holidays for all the girls ,Two Days ! I felt it was going to be a easy whip it up one well I was done Hopped on Pinterest googled I said ok one of these top two , picked yours and I’m so relieved and happy ?? so...In my opinion you did great making this , will be super great for me during the holidays , cause I have a lot to make and with the slouchys I do I needed one that will go faster !
