Hi Sue,
I love the bernat maker yarn! It is much thinner than traditional t-shirt yarn. You could hold 2 or 3 strands together to make it thicker. Or if you keep working with this yarn I’d use a smaller hook and expect a smaller basket!

I bought bernat maker home dec yarn. It is a t-shirt brand. When I started the circle round and made a few rounds it doesn’t look the finished product will be 12″.

Any advice for a basket already finished? It is my first basket and it is super floppy. If I can’t find a way to stiffen it otherwise, I’m going to have to have to end up buying wire and fabric to make a interior frame and lining for it just for it to be basket-y.
